Reporting to the APAC Head of Supply Chain, the primary role of the Senior Manager, Integrated Business Planning is to develop, deploy and manage Supply Chain planning capability across the APAC region.

Supply Chain Planning will ensure the effective management of our inventory assets to meet Olympus customer experience goals while minimising net working capital and operational expenses.


The Senior Manager Integrated Business Planning will establish a regional planning capability and be the regional process owner for Demand and Replenishment Planning.

The role will design and develop Planning processes across all APAC entities and take responsibility to develop Planning skills and capabilities in APAC.

This includes supporting the Head of Supply Chain and Country Supply Chain Managers to align roles and responsibilities, processes, systems and tools to enable Supply Chain to meet the required business outcomes.

Regional Process Owner

Performance Measures

  • Set the strategic agenda of how Planning assists in customer outcomes and business results yet have clear understanding of Planning is performed, where the levers are, how they can be improved
  • Engage key cross functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with their requirements and expectations
  • Design and deploy a planning architecture (roles & responsibilities, processes and tools) into the BC's that closely aligns market requirements with regional standardisation
  • Define the process objectives, goals, KPIs and essential measures
  • Define and deliver business process change and capability improvements, which continuously increase the maturity of the process and sustain each level of maturity.
  • A defined and documented framework (roles & responsibilities, processes etc) for Planning that implements an appropriate level of standardisation across the region
  • Defined and agreed service levels, targets and outcomes for customer experience and inventory health
  • A foundational lift in Planning capability for the region.

IBP / S&OP Execution

Key Responsibilities

Performance Measures

  • Provide leadership and coordination for IBP/S&OP routines in smaller BC's.
  • Enable a coordinated APAC view of forecasting and planning
  • Provide active management of service levels and KPI's such as inventory levels and health
  • On target KPI's for Customer Experience (DIFOT or similar) and inventory health (days on hand, slow moving, obsolete stock)

Team Leadership

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to all reports, ensuring Olympus core values are maintained.
  • Conduct performance appraisals on all managed staff, set objectives and monitor their progress towards them.
  • Support and manage the team to achieve performance targets and development plans and activities through regular 1:1's
  • Coach and train staff on Olympus standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Be responsible for maintaining personal development.
  • Regularly communicate team achievements and project updates to key stakeholders, to better educate the business on the skills of the department, and to foster a collaborative relationship with the commercial business departments.

Inherent Requirements


Formal Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business with a major in Supply Chain or similar

Experience

  • More than 8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, ideally in consumer goods / medical devices or technology.
  • Demonstrable planning experience in a mid to large multinational supply chain operating globally and responsibility across the Asia Pacific region
  • Demonstrable experience leading process change
  • Working knowledge and experience in SAP, M365, BI and data analysis tools.
