This advertisement is for recruiting for the position of Science Lab Technician.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Primary School located in Serangoon North.


Contract Period:
From 01 January 2024 to 31 December 2024


Option to Extend:
for another year in Jan Dec 2025)


Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

  • Mondays to Fridays : 7:30am to 3:15pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays (unless requested by school)

The personnel will assist with the follows:

Assist in the management of the three science laboratories.

  • Prepare the materials required for the science lessons based on the teachers' requirement.
  • Assist the teachers while using of science apparatus.
  • Stocktaking of resources
  • Keeping track of loan services for the resources in the lab
  • Preparing materials for performance tasks and science notice boards.
  • Maintaining the plants grown by the science department
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

The Personnel shall mínimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Able to speak, read and write English
  • Able to use MS word and MS Excel
  • Mature individual with a pleasant disposition
  • Preferably with some experience working in a primary school science lab
