As a Business Analyst, you will support the Shell Energy business working in projects for Power, Gas & LNG focusing on trading activities.

The Role:

IT Business Analyst - Endur ETRM **(Energy Trading Risk Management)


You would be responsible for the identification and documentation of business requirements, working with technical teams to determine feasible solution options.

You would actively manage the requirements through the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle in either project or BAU teams.

Your role will vary depending on your project(s), typically you would perform the following day to day activities:


  • Work closely with
    stakeholders to
    build trust and
    understand their
    goals,
    motivations,
    constraints,
    risks, and
    operating environment:

Describe
technology in
terms easily
understood by business customers and
set realistic customer expectations for the project outcome

  • Responsible for the
    execution of the project(s) business analysis tasks using appropriate methods, tools, and technology.

Troubleshooting issues within the
Endur system:

Elicit requirements & document to support business understanding & sign-off and
work with
developers and
testers to support
delivery of these
requirements:


  • Prepare and support
    UAT:
  • Prepare and deliver
    training for users

What You Will Bring:

Must legal authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship of employment visa

  • Minimum
    5 Years working experience as
    Endur BA including
    handson configuration in 3 or more of the following areas:

  • cMotion,
    gMotion,
    Deal modeling,
    Pricing formulas,
    Power toolset,
    Settlement Desktop,
    Accounting Desktop,
    Market Manager:
-
Familiarity with the
Endur data model, and comfortable
querying using
SQL.

  • Strong IT Business Analysis Skills
    BA Tools &
    Techniques,
    BA Planning &
    Monitoring,
    Requirements Management:
  • Domain Knowledge
    Endtoend commodities trade lifecycle knowledge in LNG, Power or Gas, including
    trade capture,
    logistics,
    risk management,
    settlement and
    accounting.
  • Knowledge of
    EndtoEnd Software Development Life Cycle &
    Agile Delivery:
  • Prior experience with
    requirements elicitation during
    requirements workshop and
    documenting requirements:
  • Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Troubleshooting Skills


  • Effective Communication Skills

  • Able to
    articulate technical findings in simple form to the business,
    prioritize issues by juggling the importance to the business and timetocompletion of the build, and
    influence business on system functionality to be built
  • Able to collaborate and work in a team
