Our Client

Our client is a prominent real estate fund management company that focuses on the management of public-listed real estate investment trusts, REITs.

In view of business transformation and internal reorganisation, they are looking for an Accountant or Senior Accountant with full sets of accounts experience to join their finance team in Singapore office.

Your Role

This role reports to Finance Manager/Finance Director with the following responsibilities: _
Responsible for the accurate and timely closing of a portfolio of accounts (around 1020 entities) monthly, comprising the AP, AR and General Ledger function and including the preparation of audit schedules
Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders for the issuance of invoices to related companies
Preparation of remittances/cheques for payments of expenses and staff claims
Processing of staff claims
Preparation of GST returns and income tax returns
Support the annual Group budgeting exercise
Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretarial agents where required
Assist in new processes and system implementation when required Adhoc duties as may be assigned

Your Profile

Diploma or Degree Holder in Accountancy
At least 57 years of relevant experience and able to handle full set of accounts; exposure to real estate investment sector is an added advantage
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
A selfstarter with a positive mindset who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
Meticulous, analytical and independent worker who can handle stressful deadlines well
Prior experience in SAP preferred but not a prerequisite
