Business Function

:

Data Management (DM) Team is part of the DataFirst Team within Transformation Group (reporting to the Group Head of Strategy, Transformation, Analytics & Research (GSTAR). DM Team is the central data management team responsible for defining and developing the bank's data management strategy & approach, data management policies and standards, strategic programme delivery and the key point of contact for all data management related external engagements via Industry and Regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:

Be a data partner to support data stewards in areas of data & risk management, data issues and other data related areas.

Run or co-run projects with the team. At times, the candidate may have to take a lead to coordinate or manage various stakeholders to meet the desired outcome of the projects, prepare materials for PSC and GMC update.

Provide reference code advisory or guidance to new joiners on use of Reference Code Management in Collibra.

Support BAU work such as dept code assignment and other administrative work.

Contribute to overall team KPIs in the areas of Responsible Data Use, Data Quality and metadata management where required.

Requirements:

Degree from relevant discipline with min 8 years of data management and data related experience, of which, 3 - 5 years in project management.

Risk management/compliance &/or audit experience would advantageous.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with seniors and cross-functional stakeholders, and at times, independently.

Have an open mind as we are constantly learning, transforming and keeping pace with the happenings in and outside the bank.

Strong analytical and writing skills.

Willing to work on new ideas and embrace challenges.
