Assistant Manager, Strategy & Policy


RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you seeking a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully and inspire action towards a City of Good?


Corporate Planning

  • Collaborate with teams to establish, monitor, and assess progress toward NVPC's strategic goals.
  • Support crossfunctional business process reengineering to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist crossfunctional teams in project prioritisation efforts.
  • Support quarterly dashboard and Balanced Scorecard reporting, as well as semiannual and annual strategy reviews.
  • Support in the identification of organisational problems and primary objectives for new projects, validate key business requirements, and interpret data and its implications.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating organisational strategies and initiatives.

Corporate Secretariat

  • Support the management of key meetings with partners including agendasetting, writing of minutes, and coordinating followups.
  • Support the organization and preparation for board meetings, board resolutions, meeting minutes; etc

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Management
  • At least 1 to 3 years' experience in project management and business process improvement
  • Understanding of business analysis and business requirements gathering discipline preferred
  • Selfstarter/entrepreneurial spirit
  • High functioning organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple demands
  • Ability to work independently as well as with teams
  • Ability to demonstrate executive presence with Clevel partners
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Strong prioritisation, planning, and analytical skills
  • Goal oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and selfdirected
  • Adaptable and flexible; open minded, innovative and creative seeks 'out of box' solutions
