Roles & Responsibilities

Astek is looking for Project Manager for core banking applications to support our project based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

· To take ownership of the full Project Management Lifecycle of projects from across the APAC region for multiple core banking applications across various business lines.

· Plans, organizes and implements the company or client's technical projects by coordinating production releases and roll-outs, delegating tasks to the necessary employees and presenting on projects' progress and results.

· Manage project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.

· Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives

· Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders

· Management of post production Go-Live issues to ensure that incidents and problems are addressed efficiently with complete impact analysis and tracked from the time raised to resolution

Requirements and Qualifications

· At least 7 years of work experience in managing a team and a project in core banking applications in a financial services environment.

· Have managed or contribute significantly in at least a system migration project.

· Knowledge on different IT Corporate Banking activities and products (Interest/ FX rates, Capital Market & Accounting).

· Understand how different interest and FX rates are used in a bank for accounting, finance, and products.

· Proficient in SQL and Unix.

· Background in application development process, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, and JIRA.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Sharepoint.
