- Drive the development and implementation of the regional bancassurance business plan in alignment with the overall Group Business Banking strategy and objectives
- Manage relationships with key insurance partners to ensure delivery of business objectives and KPIs
- Develop and implement a sales management framework, driving the performance of the regional teams to ensure targets are met
- Drive the development of new insurance products in line with market trends and customer needs, and working closely with the insurance partners and internal stakeholders
- Lead the digital transformation of the bancassurance business, including the development of the digital sales channel
- Use data analytics to drive business decisions and improve performance across the bancassurance business
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders in developing and executing a digital marketing strategy, leveraging various methods to reach customers and drive business growth
- Monitor and analyze the market and competition to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- At least 15 years of experience in the insurance industry or its equivalent, covering both life and general insurance across product and sales.
- Proven track record in managing bancassurance partnerships and delivering business results
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performance teams
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Experience in digital transformation and development of digital sales channel
- Proficiency in data analytics and ability to use data to drive business decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in digital marketing and development of digital marketing strategies is a plus

About the Department
At Group Business Banking, our mandate is to provide straightforward honest banking through: Portfolio management of our clients Providing a comprehensive suite of services ranging from core banking products to beyond banking solutions Serving the SME community spanning across 5 countries in the region.
Job Responsibilities
The Regional Head of Bancassurance is responsible for leading the bancassurance teams across the region and leading business planning, insurance partner management, sales management, product development, data analytics, digital marketing, creation of new digital sales channel and digital transformation. You will work closely with various function Heads (Sales Management, Product, and Modelling & Analytics etc.) to drive the bancassurance strategy across the organization.
