Position Summary:


  • The incumbent position will lead Industry 4.0 transformation of current Industrial & Manufacturing processes.
  • This position is responsible to oversee technical aspect of different types of Robots deployment for automation projects aimed at optimizing industrial processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing productivity.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive Process Improvement: Listen, understanding the current process from operators, identify operation pain point, bottleneck and propose for Automation and Improvement.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders on the business needs, operational requirements, and define/write standard technical specifications for automation solutions that can be applied and reused.
  • Technical Design and Implementation: Lead the comprehensive study, design for different kinds of robots (Cobots, AMR, Warehouse Robotic, and Robotic Arms) and their paths/movements, overseeing the collaborative development and deployment of both hardware and software with line builders and internal stakeholders to deploy seamless, safe and reliable solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify project stakeholders, establish clear communication channels, and manage expectations to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • System Design: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs for automation systems, including hardware, software, and control strategies.
  • Vendor Selection and support: Evaluate and select automation vendors, contractors, and suppliers based on capabilities, costeffectiveness, and compatibility with project requirements.
  • System Integration: Connect with our internal teams (such as IS/IT, facility) to prepare and ensure seamless deployment of the solution from our selected vendor.
  • Testing and deployment: Lead and overseeing all technical aspects of implementation, testing, commissioning, and deployment to ensure successful delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties from technical aspect associated with automation projects, develop mitigation plans, and monitor project progress to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards, testing procedures, and validation protocols to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of automation systems.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to endusers, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth adoption and operation of automation solutions.
  • Documentation and Configuration, Reuse and Redeployment: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, test reports, provide and maintain knowledge for possibility of reconfiguration, reuse and redeployment of the machines and robots.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in industrial system engineering, computer science, automation, robotic or a related field.
  • Min. 3 years proven experience in robotic projects, design and deployment of robots, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of autonomous navigation, patch planning and machine learning within the robotics domain specifically in the implementation of industrial automation projects.
  • Deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, robotics, industrial data capturing, VSM and MES/MOM software.
  • Strong disposition toward continuous learning, selfstarter and passionate to drive, emulate, synchronize and connect with stakeholders on automation projects to achieve business objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve project objectives
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in industrial automation
  • Experience with industry relay out project or vendors management is a plus
  • Proven experience with process optimization, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing princ
