Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Receive trainings on ultrahigh throughput NGS sequencing workflows
  • Perform sample QC, prepare sequencing libraries, and perform ultrahigh throughput sequencing
  • Analyze sequencing data and report results in a timely manner
  • Assist in troubleshooting and ensuring proper documentation of all processes
  • Interact with bioinformaticians and evaluate bioinformatics output
  • Maintain lab equipment & documentation in accordance with quality requirements
  • Supervise and train junior staff
  • Other adhoc projects as required
  • May need to perform shift duties as required

Desired Skills and Competencies:


  • Degree in Life Sciences or a related field
  • Diploma in Life Sciences or a related field with 1 year working experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail is the key
  • Handon experience with NGS technologies is highly desirable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a positive, proactive, cando attitude
  • Keen to learn and good team player
  • Comfortable with shift work is a plus.
