Care and Support Executive - Singapore - 365 Cancer Prevention Society
Description
The Care and Support Executive shall support the Psychosocial Services team in reaching out to the cancer survivors and their families in their cancer journey.
Responsibilities:
Client Visitation
- Visit clients at their homes or in hospitals to understand their state of emotional and physical health
- Befriend clients and their families
- Accompany clients to medical appointments where required
- Advice clients on other available resources (e.g. medical social workers) where appropriate
- Guide volunteers and acquaint them with clients during visitation
- Follow up with nonactive clients via phone calls or newsletters
- Encourage clients to participate in 365CPS' programmes and services
- Prepare reports on visitation updates
- Maintain database to manage details of clients
- Minimum GCE 'O' or 'N' level
- Preferably 2 years of experience in a similar capacity from a Non-Profit Organisation sector
- A team player with good interpersonal communication skills
- Patient with empathy and strong listening skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
