Roles & Responsibilities

Our client, one of Asia-Pacific's leading organizations is looking for:

System Analyst / Production Support

Responsibilities:

Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of IT services
Manage outsourced vendors and in-housed contractors to meet the delivery and operation needs of IT services
Manage change request, service request and production support issues and ensure service levels are met
Review system designs and technical specifications to ensure all requirements are captured to meet system objectives
Review post production issues and identify root cause and work with vendors on preventive measures;
Plan, execute and support system implementation, software/hardware upgrades and security patches
Manage the verification of software patches and upgrades for applications

Requirements:

Bachelor or higher degree in IT or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in application production support on Java and .NET applications in both Unix and Windows environment
Experience in incident management, problem management, release management, root cause analysis and deployment
Understand SDLC and experience working with business users, various IT teams and vendors
Knowledge of web languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript); familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL) and application servers (e.g. IIS, WebSphere Application Server)
Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technology
Certification or formal training in ITIL will be an added advantage
