The Opportunity
The Credit Analyst will cover mainly ASEAN investment-grade corporate credits to generate fundamental credit research reports with internal risk ratings and relative-value perspectives.
The analyst will need to demonstrate a clear credit view by conducting thorough fundamental credit analysis and engaging the company managements/ rating agencies/ sell-side counterparties.
The analyst is also required to interact proactively with regional investment and business development teams to support business growth.The analyst needs to demonstrate strong teamwork spirit to collaborate with broader stakeholders such as portfolio managers, regional analysts, client-facing teams, and ESG colleagues.
Responsibilities
- To take coverage of fundamental credit research mainly for ASEAN credits, focusing on ASEAN corporates/ financials investmentgrade credits, including Australia/ New Zealand.
- To generate annual credit review reports and regular credit updates with valuation angles for issuers under coverage, through indepth fundamental credit analysis.
- To engage company management, rating agencies, and sellside counterparties to discern key credit drivers for portfolios to outperform.
- To collaborate with regional teams on regular meetings, publications, and ad hoc projects.

What we are looking for?
- Two to five years of fundamental credit research experiences in related industries;
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and Excel;
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are required;
- Teamwork spirit;
- Passionate in fundamental credit research;
- Able to work independently with mínimalsupervision.
