- Collaborate with the Product Management team to understand product vision, user needs, and market trends, and translate them into impactful design solutions.
- Conduct thorough research on user behavior, pain points, and preferences to inform design decisions and ensure user-centered design practices.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, and provide constructive feedback to the design team to improve design quality.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of design concepts.
- Champion design best practices, design systems, and guidelines to maintain design consistency across products.
- Lead design reviews and present design proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating designs as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to prioritize design tasks on the backlog and ensure timely delivery of design projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, and encourage the team to adopt innovative design techniques.
- Advocate for the value of design within the organization and foster a design-centric culture that emphasizes user experience excellence.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a track record of delivering successful design projects, and proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field. A background in Computer Science is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and design thinking methodologies.
- Proven experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering insights to drive design decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to design and project management.
- Passion for staying updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments.
- Understanding of software development and web technologies to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
