Roles & ResponsibilitiesSalt is looking for a Project Team Lead to join our leading client on a 8months extendable contract. The individual will lead a team of 20-30 laboratory technicians and cleaners of the mosquito factory.
Work Scheduled:
5 days a week (regular office hours) with two days off.
o 4 weekdays + 1 weekend
Timings: 8.30am to 5.30pm
On the job training will be provided
Job Description
· Provide oversight to team performing 5S and good housekeeping in the mosquito production facility to ensure a safe working environment in accordance to Workplace Safety and Health Guidelines as well as specific Arthropod Containment Guidelines
· Ensure the team maintains the cleanliness of common areas in a mosquito production facility i.e routine cleaning, ad hoc clearing of spills, clutter, perform emergency wipe down, etc
· Manage treatment (autoclave) and flow of waste produced on site.
· Ensure clean production equipment and workstations.
· Support laboratory decontamination and sterilization processes
· Ensure team maintains cleaning equipment and consumables supply including managing storage and inventory and refilling supplies.
· Ensure team maintains logs/records of completed cleaning tasks.
· Ensure adherence to basic safety protocols such as preventing slips, trips and falls, prevent falling objects, eliminate fire hazards and prevent accidental releases of mosquitoes or escapees.
· Time permitting, support production operations as and when required.
· Performs ad-hoc miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
· Train new team members
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
· Min Nitec/ Diploma and above with 3-5 year of relevant experience
· Must be physically fit, the role requires constant moving, standing, lifting.
· Ability to follow schedules while also responding to incidents as they occur
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
· Must be self-driven, with strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask.
· Demonstrated ability to follow health and safety standards.
· Good time management skills
