- Establishes specific goals for every sales call or meeting; customises pre-made materials to create captivating presentations for decision-makers and influencers in the customer base; asks pertinent questions to elicit information, gauge the level of interest from the audience, and pinpoint and address areas that need more details or clarification.
- Builds a personal network within the business community and speaks on behalf of the company to clients and at industry gatherings. Obtains market intelligence and improves company's visibility, reputation, and capacity to offer comprehensive safety solutions.
- With input from pertinent internal specialists, configures product and service solutions and related contractual terms to fulfil the mid- to long-term demands of the clients. presents the solution to customer representatives and, within a certain set of commercial parameters, negotiates an agreement.
- Works in cross-functional teams as the customer champion and collaborates internally to develop solid relationships with external customers.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in marine sales or related industries is required for a diploma or degree in engineering or a related discipline.

- Technical product expertise, direct sales experience, and/or sales process support.
