    Confidential Executive Search

    Our client, a high-growth, technology-enabled organization operating across multiple markets, has retained us to identify a Chief Technology Officer to join its executive leadership team.

    This confidential search seeks a seasoned technology executive capable of leading architectural evolution, scaling engineering operations, and embedding advanced automation and AI capabilities into the company's core platform strategy.

    The role reports directly to the CEO.

    Position Overview

    The CTO will be responsible for defining and executing a forward-looking technology strategy that strengthens scalability, operational resilience, and intelligent automation across the organization.

    Beyond traditional engineering leadership, this mandate includes the structured integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning models, intelligent agents, and workflow automation to drive measurable efficiency gains and product differentiation.

    The successful candidate will inherit an established platform and engineering organization and will be expected to elevate technical maturity while accelerating innovation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technology Strategy & Architecture

    • Define and execute the long-term technical vision
    • Oversee system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and scalability planning
    • Lead modernization initiatives and structured technical debt reduction
    • Ensure enterprise-grade security, reliability, and performance

    AI, Automation & Intelligent Systems

    • Design and execute a practical AI roadmap aligned with business objectives
    • Evaluate and implement machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent agent frameworks
    • Introduce automation across internal workflows and customer-facing processes
    • Establish governance models for responsible AI usage, data integrity, and model performance
    • Build capabilities around predictive analytics, process optimization, and decision-support systems

    Engineering Leadership

    • Lead and develop a distributed engineering organization
    • Establish scalable engineering governance and delivery discipline
    • Introduce metrics-driven performance management
    • Build strong second-line leadership within technology

    Executive & Business Alignment

    • Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with growth strategy
    • Translate commercial objectives into scalable technical solutions
    • Quantify ROI of automation and AI initiatives
    • Ensure innovation remains operationally viable and economically sound

    Candidate Profile

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

    • 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
    • Prior experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent executive role
    • Proven track record scaling SaaS or technology-enabled platforms
    • Experience deploying AI/ML initiatives in production environments
    • Strong background in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems
    • Demonstrated ability to introduce automation frameworks at scale
    • Experience leading multi-country or distributed teams
    • Advanced professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)

    Exposure to operationally complex industries or data-intensive environments will be considered advantageous.
