    About the Department

    The GTO Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver projects spanning multiple business units. Delivering projects within stage gate controls and UOB project SDM guidelines while managing issues, risks, dependencies and project change will be core competencies to the role.

    Job Responsibilities

    Stakeholder and Team Management

  • Be the contact person for business and technology stakeholders from Cards stream covering: issuing, acquiring, fraud, risk, application development and other technology partners
  • Engagement with Business Change Management (BCM) team for change prioritisation, submission and delivery
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
  • Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverable, dependencies, communicating across leadership and business stakeholders
  • Be the servant leader, develop high performance team
  • Develop and be a mentor to team members

    • Quarterly Release (QR) and Change Request

  • Manage the PFS Cards annual QR budget, ensure utilisation above 90%
  • Ensure solution is delivered at optimal cost while fulfil functional requirements
  • Active prioritization of Change Requests with stakeholders
  • Alignment of delivery timeline and business expectation
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs

    • Tactical Projects

  • Ensure the Tactical projects are aligned to and supports strategic objectives
  • Appropriate identification of tactical project, sound judgement on delivery using CR vs Project
  • Work with PM assigned, bring project to and pass pre-ITC gate within SDM5 framework
  • Continuous stakeholder management through governance process
  • Manage the day-to-day pre-project activities

    • BAU – Production Support

  • Management of business stakeholders of High Severity Incidents
  • Business makes informed decision on impact of high severity incidents
  • Working with technology teams on timely resolution of production incidents that minimizes customer impact
  • Active monitoring on bank's status of Scheme compliance. Ensure any none compliant items are promptly attended to

  • Over 10 years' experience in credit cards and payment domain
  • Executive level communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
  • Banking experience with understanding of Cards, Operations, Process and operating models
  • Experience working with teams across multiple domains across business, technology and operations
  • Effectively manage conflicts and uncertainties
  • Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent is an advantage
  • A confident and self-aware leader with a high degree of independence
