Roles & Responsibilities

Position : Construction Project Director (Civil Engineering /6 days work) - Up to $16,000
Location : Office based at Changi
Working hours : Monday to Saturday | 8am to 5pm
Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $16,000 + Variable Bonus + Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits
Duration : Permanent
Industry : Civil Engineering & Construction

Main Responsibilities:

Overall responsible for the successful conclusion of construction projects
Oversee Project Managers and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to Project Managers to implement the decisions
Meeting with Clients, Stakeholders and Project Managers to report on project progress
Liaise with clients and build strong working relationships
Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage

Requirements:

Minimum of Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with at least 13-15 years previous work experience as a Senior Project Manager
Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or equivalent and other basic construction certificates
Strong presentation and negotiating skills, and experience supervising, training and mentoring staff
Leadership and business management skills
Ability to maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with associates who can only speak mandarin
