Description

Responsibilities:


  • Track and handle all incidents within SLA.
  • Follow through all the necessary escalation (even set reminder) to L2 and/or L3 teams(s).
  • Facilitate the recording daily situation report for management review.
  • Provide immediate update on the status of the request assigned.
  • Ensure new PCs and IT peripherals deployed are in working conditions else escalate for rectification.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the asset information such as all recorded into the asset database accompanied by necessary form the duly signed.
  • Assist in the testing and rollout of the system bug fixes/ enhancement / patches.
  • Provide daily / weekly / monthly update on the progress (bug fixes / enhancement /patches) to the supervisor.

Requirements:


  • Minimum ITE/Diploma in Computing and Information Systems.
  • Knowledge in Office automation tools, MS Operation Systems.
  • Experience in desktop software for patch management, software packaging and software delivery is an added advantage.
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, e.g Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
  • Must be independent, resourceful, proactive and a team player.
  • Strong aptitude in picking up (operation knowledge) in more than one types of system
Duty will be planned rotation among the pool of support engineers.
