Position Summary

The role holder is instrumental in managing, developing, and implementing the group reward strategy, ensuring alignment with the business and people strategy, driving business performance and engagement of talent.

The role holder will provide consultancy support to key stakeholders and operate as a trusted and influential advisor to leaders, managers and HR teams on all areas of reward, including activity in relation to the annual reward cycle and project activity.

This will be through regional alignment to the APAC region, working closely with and supporting the wider APAC HR team and the Regional HR Director, while also working on the core group Reward agenda.

The role holder will contribute to the development and implementation of new reward programmes, continuous improvement, horizon scanning and innovation.


Job Description:


  • Implement and refine Edrington's Total Reward philosophy, building an indepth knowledge of all aspects of Total Reward at Edrington to articulate and define the key aspects of the Edrington employee value proposition.
  • Understand and actively support Edrington's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) agenda and ensure that reward activity is aligned with DE&I goals
  • Provide indepth technical expertise in all areas of benchmarking and operating all aspects of compensation
  • Implement and develop Edrington's approach to incentive management including annual, longterm and sharesbased incentive plans and commissionbased arrangements
  • Play a key role in delivering Edrington's annual reward cycle and yearend activity (salary review, bonus process, share incentive plan processes)
  • Utilize expertise in benefits management to develop, enhance and communicate the inherent value of the Edrington benefit offering
  • Have an indepth knowledge of all aspects of global mobility, working with a range of providers to ensure that assignments are successfully instigated, managed and concluded for the APAC region
  • Provide insight, analysis and recommendations for the Edrington Board (including the Remuneration Committee), the Executive Committee, the HR Leadership team and Business Unit Leadership teams
  • Provide consultative technical expertise, advice and guidance regarding compensation and benefits to managers, employees & the wider HR function
  • Liaise with third party providers as necessary and potentially acting as lead Edrington relationship manager as required
  • Continually reviewing and improving systems, processes, and procedures to ensure best practice and efficient processes are in place
  • Develop an innovative communication strategy for all areas of reward delivery and consultancy
  • Develop training and communication materials to educate and guide managers/employees on compensation and reward
Skills and Experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent. Membership of a relevant professional body is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in Reward commensurate with this level of role (c. 10 years), across multiple geographies is advantageous
  • Calm under pressure with appropriate project management and organisational skills to deliver multiple projects in parallel to delivering the 'day job'
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to interact and influence up to senior executive level
  • Strong analytical and excel skills, working with high volumes of data from various sources including HR systems Equal opportunities
