Role Purpose


Responsible in the development of and oversees the implementation of strategic loyalty marketing plans for the IHG One Rewards, and its extensions (Ambassador, Business Rewards), to drive loyalty revenue (both room and food & beverage), brand preference and market share growth in the region.


This role will collaborate with Global Loyalty and Commercial teams to leverage opportunities to cross sell the brand portfolio as part of those plans.


Key Accountabilities

  • Is the marketing custodian of the customer experience for the IHG One Rewards in the region, across the journey ensuring the value proposition and communication is consistent and effective throughout each stage.
  • Lead the development and execution of loyalty marketing campaigns and initiatives across the customer journey for travellers, guests and loyalty members, to drive loyalty performance across the Customer Funnel, to drive new member enrolments, activation and engagement.
  • Lead advertising and communications activities in line with the agreed strategy & priorities for IHG One Rewards. Develop needsbased, nontraditional campaigns and communications which are fresh, creative and relevant to the targeted audiences.
  • Ensure clear objective setting, tracking and measurement systems are in place to quantify the returns against marketing investments. Review performance data against the plan, summarise and comment regarding campaign effectiveness and recommendations.
  • Develop and track project budgets and maintain precise status of spending, commitments and projections.

Key Skills & Experiences

Educational Attainment:


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Brand Management, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and workrelated experience.

Critical Expertise & Experience:


  • 5+ Years progressive workrelated experience with demonstrated understanding of multiple business processes related to the position including targeted and broadbased consumer omnichannel marketing and promotions.
  • Track record in successfully developing and maintaining excellent working relationships across all functions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from crossfunctional synergies, especially Sales & Revenue, Brand Management, Guest Marketing, DRM/Hotel Marketing and Interactive Marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in Managing implementation of marketing strategies by monitoring competitive movements, regional macro business conditions and company business needs.
  • Demonstrated communication skills including ability to present to all levels of the organization, ability to influence and ability to build and maintain internal & external relationships.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:


  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles including paid media planning, digital marketing, TV production and promotional concepts.
  • Demonstrated project management skills in organising, planning and executing mid to large size projects from conception through implementation.
