Job Summary

Mirxes is looking for a mission-driven Data Scientist to own the development of preventative cancer algorithms, acquisition of health datasets, and structuring of health data.

In this role, you will lead data acquisition strategy, drive workstreams to acquire health datasets, and integrate internal / external health datasets to develop algorithms aimed at reducing incidence of cancer.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and iterate preventative cancer algorithms
Develop data acquisition strategy and drive acquisition efforts for external healthcare datasets
Structure and integrate external and internal healthcare datasets for analysis
Partner with Product Management, UX, and Software Engineering to build commercial preventative cancer products

_ This will be a 20-hours per week contract assignment, for 12 months._

Desired Skills and Competencies

Bachelor's Degree in quantitative discipline, or equivalent industry experience
2+ of Data Science Experience
Experience with machine learning models
Experience contributing to the development and launch of regulated Digital Healthcare products
Experience structuring and analyzing large datasets
