Business Need / Purpose of Role
Manage the efficient running of the Service Center & Global Principals Accounts specific to that hub location.

Accountable for performance and service delivery of a team of industry professionals providing regional support for global or regional customers in line with the company/department strategy.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational and Project/Tasks Management

  • Manage the day to day service delivery of the Service Centre Hub Principals to ensure all procedures are competently executed
  • Understand and manage process(es) as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Manage the daily operational requirements ensuring service delivery, performance against KPIs, objectives and departmental/business strategy
  • Manage and monitor principal requests, reporting, procedures and policies, working instructions and principal contractual requirements
  • Manage or assist the onboarding and implementation of new or existing Hub Principals into the business.
  • Drive continual improvement and service delivery
  • Defining, Implementing, Development & Improvement of Internal or external operational/financial processes.
  • Manage the full utilization of the operating (ERP) IT system(s) and tools available by the relevant stakeholder's
  • Principal and stakeholder engagement, follow up, relationship development and management
  • Proactively explore, manage/monitor and maintain an overview of all financial activities relating, but not limited to, Cost/Efficiency Savings, Negotiations with owners/LPA/Service
  • Assist and support other departments / functions as and when required
  • Activity be involved and/or lead/manage tasks or projects in area of responsibility with delivery within scope
Quality Management

  • Ensure service delivery standard failures by Service Centre, team or individual ere escalated and reported for followed up with the relevant stakeholder(s)
  • Manage, monitoring, reporting and compliance of internal and external KPIs, with accurate & on time internal management reporting (Operational & Financial).
  • Adhere too and ensure the Service Centre are compliant with all ISS processes, procedures, instructions and policies
  • Maintain and regularly review Inchcape and principle specific, (including but not limited too) Databases, Manuals, SOPs, KPIs, reporting requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate 3rd party performance when required plan, implement, and deliver improvements
  • Ensure full compliance with ISS Quality control systems
People / Resource Management

  • Manage and monitor the training needs of direct and indirect lines
  • Coach and mentor direct and indirect lines when required
  • Always manage and monitor workload of the staff/teams to ensure sufficient resources levels
  • Monitor and evaluate SVC, team and staff performance when required plan, implement and deliver improvement
  • Manage any HR related issues which may arise in conjunction with HR and are escalated, when required, to the Hub Operations Manager.
  • Accountable for reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses whether the persons are injured or not
Office/SVC Management

  • Manage the day to day running of the office
  • Manage and deliver against set SVC budget
  • Manage HSSE requirements of the office
  • Manage services provided to the office cost effectively
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Prior knowledge of Maritime operations, Local law and regulations handling vessels entering to Indonesia port.
  • Communication skills to engage terminal representatives, principal and/or vessels.
  • Adept at Port and Immigration documentation
  • Proficiency at basic computer skills including MS office and MS outlook.
  • Must be professional in conduct and practice, and also reliable as each report are time critical.
  • Creative, responsive and adaptive in a dynamic environment

Education/Experience:


  • Ship Operations tanker or bulker
  • Shipping knowledge & understanding
  • ERP system(s) knowledge & technical understanding
  • Project planning
  • Customer Service
  • Management theory and best practice
