Title:

Senior Principal Engineer (Structural)


Responsibilities:


  • Lead Offshore Structural Engineer with experience in Floating structures (FPSO Topside modules), Fixed Template Jacket Structures, Lifted Topsides, Float over Topsides
  • Able to efficienty lead a team of Engineers by imparting proper guidance for all inservice, preservice, accidental cases analyses
  • Coordinate with and Designers for issue of Structural deliverables as per contract scope of work within the stipulated budget, schedule and quality
  • Liaise with EPC contractor, End user client, Installation contractor, Marine warranty surveyor, Independent Verification body etc

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Offshore Structural Engineer with minimum experience of 20 to 25 years and capable of leading a team of Structural Engineers and designers, liaising with EPC contractors, end user client personnel, IVB/MWS
  • Should have sound knowledge of Float over/LiftedTopsides, Launched/lifted jackets
  • Good knowledge of Weight Control management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with inter disciplines
  • Very good proficiency in SACS/SESAM/STAAD PRO Software and E3D Review
  • Good knowledge of latest revisions of Offshore design codes such as ISO , ISO 19902, AISC360, applicable API and DNV codes is a must
  • Experience in analysis/design of FPSO modules and Fixed Template Structures
