    Roles & Responsibilities

    Our client is a very well-established consumer products company in the region spanning across Asia, Europe, USA.

    In view of their expansion, they are now looking for a high calibre professional to join them as:

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement direction, strategy and proprieties for Business Development in APAC and influence overall team and business strategy in the region
    • Coach, develop and motivate sales and support professionals to drive for sales performance and achieve sales goals
    • Secure new profitable business opportunities to accelerate the expansion of client portfolio globally
    • Lead regional expansion plans, work closely with the respective country managers, locals teams and overseas partners
    • Plan and execute Brand & Product launch by defining market plan
    • Determine annual plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and action plans for regions
    • Develop strategic growth plans and New Product Innovation for various countries
    • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement till contract closing for new and existing customers
    • Advise on strategic initiatives such as product development
    • Ensures comprehensive understanding of industry issues and competitive landscape to ensure relevance and appropriate competitive positioning

    Key Requirements:

    • Degree in Marketing, Business or related fields with min 12yrs relevant experience
    • Proven track record of understanding of sales and business development processes and managing business development team members
    • Good business acumen with excellent analytical and negotiation skills
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
