    Regional Marketing Communications Specialist

    The Marketing & Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies and communication plans to promote the organisation's products, services, and brand. This individual will collaborate with various teams to create compelling content, manage marketing campaigns, and maintain consistent messaging across multiple channels. The Marketing & Communications Specialist enhances brand awareness, engages with target audiences, and drives business growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Marketing and Communication Strategy and Planning:

  • Assist the Managing Directors and Business Units in developing marketing and communication plans and strategies in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Business Groups and support functions to create integrated marketing and communication campaigns that effectively reach target audiences (internal or external).
  • Content Creation and Management:

  • Create high-quality, engaging, and persuasive content for various channels, including websites, social media (LinkedIn, Instagram etc), emails, blogs, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and effectively communicates the organisation's value proposition.
  • Manage content calendars and coordinate content distribution to maximise reach and impact.
  • Works closely with agencies on content creation and translating relevant global/regional assets.
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility and drive traffic to the organisation's website and social media platforms.
  • Monitor proactive and reactive social media activities.
  • Utilise social media analytics tools to measure performance and optimise content for better engagement.
  • Public Relations and Media Relations:

  • Assist in crafting press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to garner media coverage and promote the organisation's initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media placements and partnerships.
  • Leverages digital media to support the company's marketing and digitalisation strategies.
  • Brand Management:

  • Uphold brand consistency and integrity across all communication channels and marketing materials.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation.
  • Be a trusted business partner and provide communications and thought leadership messaging for key senior stakeholders.
  • Event/Campaign Management and Promotions:

  • Coordinate and support the organisation of events, trade shows, customer/supplier events, and promotional activities/campaigns.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to develop event materials, promotional collateral, and post-event follow-up strategies.
  • Identifies content and produces appropriate materials for internal and, as needed, external communications and co-marketing activities.
  • Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance and key metrics.
  • Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Reporting to: Head of Marketing & Communications, APAC

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Other languages would be a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence business leaders.
  • Proficiency in design/editing software (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro), digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems would be an advantage.
  • Passionate about social media and digital content marketing.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously; handles competing priorities and pressures well.
  • Results-oriented. Self-motivated. Takes initiative with a "can do" attitude.
