DESIGNATION :
IS / Senior IS Analyst, Office of Integrated Information Technology Services

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, enhance and maintain enterprise systems in use by students, faculty and staff, comprising both cloud and onpremise solutions.
Contribute to the entire lifecycle of development projects from preparation and evaluation of tender / RFQ, analysis and translation of business requirements to system design, agile and secure development, quality assessment and implementation of systems, to delivery of project / system documentation.
Assist supervisor in managing and working with outsourced development vendors
Ensure high quality of deliverables, and perform peer review of team members' deliverables.
Provide enduser support, including prepare and conduct unit, integration and user acceptance tests.
Form good user relations by cultivating trust and building good rapport with users.
Conduct post implementation reviews to gather users' feedback and plan for enhancements.
Recommend and implement best practices for system design, agile and secure development, including development standards and operations.
Monitor, experiment and advocate the use of new technologies (e.g. student cloud solutions) / releases / patches to continuously improve work processes and services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or IT.
35 years of relevant technical experience in Microsoft.

NET technologies.

Strong experience in.

NET Framework 4.0 and above, C#, HTML, JavaScript and SQL Server.

Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, JavaScript and responsive web design.
Development experience in low / nocode development platforms (e.g. OutSystems, Microsoft Power Automate), Digital Process and / or Robotic Process Automation will be an added advantage.
Good experience of software development life cycles and structured project development methodology.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, facilitation, conflict management, negotiation, analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proactive selfstarter who is resultdriven and a team player.
