- Job Designation
The Engineer will be part of the engineering team at Parker Meggitt Service & Support in Singapore, focusing on aftermarket operations. This role will report to the Operations Lead for Continuous Improvement and the Engineering Lead for Capability Development. - Services and Support APAC is enhancing its regional MRO capabilities to fully support Parker Meggitt content on aircraft in the region. The organization is also progressing in embracing the Parker lean enterprise and aims to drive continuous improvement through Kaizen and other lean manufacturing tools.
- Lead plant-wide and departmental performance improvement initiatives aligned with the Parker lean system
- Develop a culture of Continuous Improvement through targeted training and Kaizen programs
- Plan and oversee Parker Kaizen activities
- Provide CI support to shop floor teams
- Design and implement enhanced workflows
- Train associates in Lean Manufacturing principles
- Identify and resolve inefficient processes
- Focus on setting up new capabilities for Meggitt and Parker products to support APAC needs
- Education: Post-secondary degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant education and experience
Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience - Skills:
- Systematic problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
