What the role is

  • The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment. We are looking for resourceful, energetic and selfmotivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore's built environment.

What you will be working on

  • Stay ahead of statutory / market developments and ensure they are reflected in the ongoing performance standards for Leasing, Tenants Management, A&A Works, Improvement Works and Maintenance Programme.
  • Strategically plan, manage and direct activities to ensure services and programmes are effective in meeting objectives and benefits.
  • Manage operating and capital expenditure budgets effectively and prudently.
  • Ensure compliance with Government Procurement and financial procedures.
  • Develop systems to ensure full coverage of building, systems and environmental data are delivered accurately and consistently.
  • Develop and build capabilities for staff.

What we are looking for

  • Proven record in management with demonstrated leadership experience in crossdisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate capacity to foster culture of innovation and lead and manage change.
  • Demonstrate ability to engage at senior level with agencies, industry and community groups.
  • Evidence of interpersonal ability and collaborative skills.
