Research Fellow / Senior Fellow (HADR Programme, NTS Centre)

The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a Graduate School of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is a leading research-intensive and teaching institution in strategic and international affairs and policy-oriented think tank in the Asia-Pacific region.

RSIS invites applications for the position of Research Fellow / Senior Fellow in the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Programme (HADR), Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies (NTS Centre). The successful applicant will take the lead in formulating viable research projects on Humanitarian Affairs. An interest in the impacts of new technologies on HADR would be beneficial. He / she will lead in arranging of conferences, workshops and outreach events, as well as oversee and undertake institutional and administrative tasks relating to research agendas such as data collection and analysis, conduct literature reviews, etc. The Research Fellow / Senior Fellow is also expected to contribute to the School's multidisciplinary research agenda, contribute to team research and policy-oriented projects, and mentor junior researchers.

The successful candidate should:

Possess a PhD in political science, social sciences, international relations or related disciplines, or have relevant working experience; and

Possess good writing and research skills with an aptitude and interest for in-depth research in the relevant field.
