Senior Associate, Volunteering & Befriending Services


RESPONSIBILITIES

We want to make a difference in our community by continuously exploring and expanding our services. We are recruiting dynamic and capable individuals for our Active Ageing Centres.

As a Senior Associate, you will provide volunteers/befriending training to Corporate and Individual volunteers.

In addition, you will supervise and coach the volunteers/befrienders to effectively work across different teams so as to benefit the clients.


In this role, you will be responsible for the overall client satisfaction metrics and related organization goals on befriending and buddying services.


  • Source and engage volunteers/befrienders.
  • Provide volunteers/befriending training
  • Devise goaloriented work schedules for volunteers/befrienders
  • Review volunteers' performance at scheduled intervals.
  • Provide befriending services to frail and vulnerable elderly at their homes
  • Work closely with the Centreincharge in implementing befriending services and monitoring seniors' conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with volunteerspecific and companywide guidelines.
  • Ensure budgetary compliance to sustain our volunteer operations.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Business Management or other relevant fields
  • Familiar with Google Workspace
  • Be outgoing and peopleoriented
  • Possess strong organisational and communication skills
  • Team player, and able to motivate peers
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent service mindset to serve the senior community

Advantaegous & Additional Skills:

  • Have experience in volunteers and befrienders management
