    Tasks

    About the role

    1. Implement global standards in the region's service operations:
    * Evaluate the current state and operating model of Service Operations (intended scope: service workshop, field service)
    * Develop a future state operating model and prioritized execution plan in line with the group service strategy that elevates our customer service regional organization
    * Implement the value stream methodology in the region in the areas of responsibility
    * Build a rigorous, data-driven operating cadence to monitor, measure and act on key KPIs
    * Drive the implementation of the Bühler onion model
    * Transfer the relevant resources from businesses to regions

    2. Build a highly effective service operations organization across the region, in terms of financial and operational performance, and in terms of skill & know-how development region-wide:
    * Footprint planning & implementation: Optimize deployment of resources across the region based on data-driven capacity planning
    * Operate the value streams and adjust supply and demand within the value streams
    * Manage key operational and administrative responsibilities including budget management, reporting, forecasting, etc.
    * Drive demand for the assigned value streams
    * Implement standards and business rules for the assigned value streams, e.g. EHS, service rates, etc
    * Embrace a "customer centric" approach of the end-to-end customer journey experience across the appointed portfolio during the entire life cycle
    * Embrace an innovation mindset considering new technologies and ways of working that drive operating efficiencies and deliver exceptional customer experience

    3. Be the functional leader of all local service operations leaders in the region:
    * Be the functional expert for all local and sub-regional service operations leaders, providing day-to-day operational support and guidance, and implementing with them the strategic service operations initiatives
    * Attract, develop and retain a dynamic, client-centric service team with a strong focus on developing new talent
    * Expand existing training and enablement programs to build a robust onboarding and ongoing talent development program We look for:

    * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
    * At least 10 years' leadership experience in field service operations leading and developing a team in a B2B environment
    * Strong operations management with multi-channel customer support background
    * Well established experience in program / project management in international projects
    * Proven track record in Lean management, ideally in Value Stream Mapping methodology
    * High effectiveness at operating in complex matrix organizations
    * Proven people development and coaching skills
    * Experience in implementing and managing large scale transformation projects
    * Entrepreneurial spirit combined with a high level of assertiveness
    * Ability to communicate on executive level
    * Confident manner and good presentation skills
    * Team player with a strong ability to cross-sectorial mobilization of employees
    * Cross-linked process thinking
    * Dynamic, responsible and structured profile
    * Proficiency in English, other languages are an added advantage
