Description

Specific Responsibility:

Performing labscale and pilotlevel compounding of new polymer / filler systems.
Performing injection molding to prepare the test specimen for plastic testing.
Ensures that lab machinery is operated following established processing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
Cleans and prepares machinery for efficient changeovers and subsequent compounding & injection molding process.
Troubleshoots processing problems to ensure production of quality products.
Keep complete and accurate records of process records.
Assists routine maintenance of machinery & auxiliary equipment.
Maintains surrounding work area according to established housekeeping standards.
Complies with established safety policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:
- _Support, assist other aspects of Engineering Centre operation as and when necessary._

-Diploma in Science or Engineering, preferably in materials science, polymer technology or chemical engineering.

Fresh graduate or 2 years working experience with polymer processing.
Experience in polymer compounding & injection molding will be an added advantage.

Salary:
$2, $2,800.00 per month
