We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Data Protection Manager to lead our data protection and privacy efforts.

As a Senior Data Protection Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive data protection strategies, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations, and leading a team of professionals in safeguarding our organization's sensitive data

Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute the organization's data protection strategy in alignment with our mission and goals.
Provide strategic guidance and direction to the data protection team.

Compliance Management:Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and others as applicable.
Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, making recommendations for improvements.

Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of data protection professionals.
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

Data Privacy Education and Training:Develop and deliver data protection and privacy training programs for employees and stakeholders.
Promote a strong culture of data protection awareness across the organization.

Incident Response and Management:Develop and maintain an effective incident response plan to handle data breaches and privacy incidents.
Lead incident response efforts, including coordination with legal, IT, and communication teams.

Data Security:Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement robust technical safeguards, encryption, and access controls.
Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of security measures.

Vendor and Third-Party Risk Management:Assess and manage data protection risks associated with third-party vendors and partners. Review and negotiate data protection clauses in vendor contracts.

Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs):Oversee the conduct of Privacy Impact Assessments for new projects, systems, or processes.

Reporting and Documentation:Maintain comprehensive records of data protection activities, incidents, and mitigation efforts. Prepare and present data protection reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
