The Operations and Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the storage and distribution of the company's products.

You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership to our operations team which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational procedures.


The number of units being stored and orders being fulfilled is poised to scale up significantly in the coming year and we will need someone data driven to plan capacities and optimal storage, shipping routes, and last mile delivery logistics to optimize speed and cost for the optimal customer experience.


What you will do:


  • Primarily responsible for managing the company's overall operations, inbound logistics, outbound logistics, lastmile logistics, and supply chain strategy through implementation of systems and policies, and effective logistics vendor management.
  • Conduct capacity planning initiatives to ensure the company is well prepared to manage the growth of inventory and fulfillment of orders
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective logistics and fulfillment networks.
  • Devise performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting operations and supply chain efficiency
  • Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory; ensure that all necessary processes and operations setups are in place so that stock counts are accurate and any variances are fully investigated.
  • Analyze current inventories and procedures; recommend improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
  • Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety.
  • Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
  • Evaluate the need for materialhandling equipment and staffing; make recommendations for efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
  • Keep track of the performance of vendors and suppliers regarding their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
  • Ensure customers are receiving orders on time, and that shipping issues for customers are kept to a minimum
  • Design reverse logistics processes to deal with returns with the usage of software and automations to minimize cost and resource requirements
  • Set up new 3rd party logistics warehouses in different part of the world to serve customers better
  • Ensure ERP and Inventory Management systems are set up to handle multiple warehouses
  • Set up processes to track and distribute inventory across retail outlets when we set up retail spaces in 202
  • Manage and mentor a growing team of operations executives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in retail and ecommerce operations and logistics, supply chain and vendor management
  • A degree in business operations & supply chain management, engineering or equivalent courses is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
  • Solid experience in setting up and managing 3PLs and other subcontractors
  • Adept at using spreadsheets to determine costs, profit, ROI and other key operational metrics
  • Knowledgeable in Logistics Operation and Transportation Manage
