    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities

    · Recipe Development and Baking: Designing recipes, creating new baked goods, and overseeing the baking process to ensure quality and consistency.

    · Ingredient Management: Sourcing and purchasing high-quality ingredients within budget constraints. Managing inventory to avoid shortages or wastage.

    · Production Planning: Planning production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and maintaining freshness.

    · Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising bakery staff, including bakers, assistants, and sales personnel. Assigning tasks and ensuring everyone works efficiently.

    · Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards in terms of taste, texture, appearance, and freshness.

    · Hygiene and Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace in compliance with food safety regulations. Implementing proper sanitation practices to prevent contamination.

    · Customer Service: Interacting with customers, taking orders, and addressing any complaints or concerns. Providing excellent service to build customer loyalty.

    · Menu Planning and Pricing: Developing a menu of baked goods based on customer preferences and market trends. Setting prices that are competitive yet profitable.

    · Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring all baking equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition. Arranging for repairs or replacements when necessary.

    · Marketing and Promotion: Promoting the bakery through various channels such as social media, local advertising, or word of mouth. Creating attractive displays to showcase products.

    · Financial Management: Managing the bakery's finances, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and monitoring sales revenue. Identifying areas for cost savings and maximizing profitability.

    · Compliance and Licensing: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and obtaining necessary licenses and permits to operate a food business from a residential premises.

    Community Engagement: Building relationships with the local community and participating in events or activities to promote the bakery and foster goodwill.
    Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on industry trends, experimenting with new recipes and techniques.

    Requirements:

    · More than 15 years of bread baking experience.

    · More than 10 years of experience running and managing a bakery outlet.
