OVERVIEW

As a Network Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our network infrastructure across different centers.

You will be responsible for ensuring efficient network connectivity, addressing hardware and desktop issues, collaborating with departments, contributing to cybersecurity measures, and keeping abreast of technological advancements.

Your expertise will be vital in enhancing our network's reliability and performance while supporting various stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain both Wi-Fi and LAN networks across multiple centers, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and desktop-related issues, primarily on Windows platforms, with familiarity in handling Apple devices.
Administer and monitor Azure cloud servers, on-premises Windows servers, and NAS storage systems, ensuring data availability and security.
Implement and maintain the PFSense firewall for network security and access control.
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their network requirements and provide efficient solutions.
Contribute to the planning and implementation of cybersecurity measures pertaining to the network and hardware components.
Act as a liaison with vendors during the execution of network-related projects, ensuring successful implementation and timely completion.
Participate in procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, raising purchase requests (PRs), and managing payment processing.
Maintain accurate inventory records of network equipment, hardware, and software licenses.
Assist the dept Head in planning and budgeting related to network and hardware initiatives.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, introducing relevant innovations to enhance network efficiency and security.


REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree/ Diploma Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience in network management and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Windows and Apple desktop support, hardware maintenance, and software installation.
Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure), Windows servers, NAS storage, and network security practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with departments and vendors.
Ability to contribute to cybersecurity initiatives and implement network security best practices.
Experience in procurement processes, inventory management, and budget planning.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in the network and hardware landscape.
