Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform entire STOmics workflow from cryosectioning of tissues and deliver high quality results.
Optimize new protocols for new sample types and troubleshoot for problematic results.
Perform sample QC, prepare sequencing libraries, and perform high throughput sequencing.
Write and update SOP and training documents. Ensure proper documentation of all processes.
Interact with bioinformaticians and evaluate bioinformatics output.
Maintain lab equipment & documentation in accordance with quality requirements.
Supervise and train junior staff.
Other adhoc projects as required.
May need to perform shift duties as required.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

Degree in Life Sciences or a related field with mínimal 2 years of related working experience
Meticulous attention to details is the key
Handon experience with cryosectioning of various tissues is highly desirable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Have a positive, proactive, cando attitude.
Keen to learn and good team player.
Comfortable with shift work is a plus.
