Roles & ResponsibilitiesReporting to Artistic Director/Company Manager
The Education and Outreach Officer plays a crucial role in highlighting Singapore Ballet as the premier ballet company in Singapore and a distinguished hub for ballet education. The primary aim is to engage and expand the audience base of Singapore Ballet through a variety of outreach initiatives, as well as nurture aspiring ballet students looking to enhance their skills through our ballet programs.
As the Education and Outreach Officer, you will oversee the effective execution, coordination, and promotion of all our ballet courses and outreach endeavors, which include:
Ballet Courses
Outreach Programmes
Responsibilities:
i) Collaborate closely with the Artistic Director and Company Manager to strategize and execute the aforementioned programs, which involve:
ii) Lead the marketing and publicity efforts, working in conjunction with the Marketing Team to implement them:
iii) Offer administrative assistance to the Artistic Director on artistic matters such as organizing weekly schedules, recording minutes of meetings with the Artistic Director involving internal/external parties
Ideal qualities:
i) Highly organized and detail-oriented
ii) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
iii) Inclination towards marketing, with or without prior marketing experience
iv) Knowledge of ballet would be advantageous.
Job requirements:
i) Minimum Diploma qualification
ii) Immediate availability is preferred.
iii) Salary will be based on experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
