[What the role is]


You will be part of the Operations Preparedness Branch under the Sanitation and Compliance Division (SCD) in Environmental Public Health Operations Group (EPHOG) that provides development of continuous learning framework for EPHOG, including leadership development, refresher training, cross-training, and annual proficiency testing, and contributes to the mission of building operational excellence in the leadership teams and workforce in EPHOG.

You will also work with the Group/ Divisions' Branches and Regional Offices, where required.


[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Plan and coordinate training & development plans with Human Resource and Organisation Development Division (HRODD), Singapore Environment Institute (SEI) and Divisions/Depts on identification of officers for various training opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate and assess the training requirements for EPHOG and prioritise training places, coordinate refresher trainings on specific operational topics
  • Maintain uptodate question banks and case studies that can be used in training and annual proficiency assessments
  • Work with internal stakeholders on ways to improve learning management in NEA and EPHOD
  • Work with Divisions/Branches to review suitability of training courses and assess instructional effectiveness
  • Monitor training statistics of EPHOG and update the group quarterly with the training progress.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel. Knowledge of Qliksense and RPA will be useful
  • Good working knowledge of statistics and analytics to make sense of multiple sources of information and form a coherent overview of situation and trends
  • Adaptable and quick to respond to new situations
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal skills
