Roles & Responsibilities

MISSION AND OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

As the Deputy Director/Senior Manager, you play a vital role in supporting the Centre's regional operations and leading recruitment, revenue generation, and corporate relations efforts. Your responsibilities include expanding postgraduate and executive education programs, establishing strategic partnerships in ASEAN, and driving the growth of the SE Asia Centre. Your guidance and expertise are essential for achieving the Centre's goal of delivering high-quality education in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Key Responsibilities

Support Regional operations: Create plans to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices for improved effectiveness across Singapore and regional operations.
Drive Recruitment Numbers and Revenue Growth: Develop strategic plans to boost student recruitment for educational programs. Implement marketing strategies to increase revenue and establish partnerships for financial sustainability. Utilize digital platforms and targeted campaigns for student outreach. Build industry partnerships to diversify revenue sources.
Develop Corporate and Institutional Relations: Foster relationships with corporate partners, educational institutions, and stakeholders to create collaborative opportunities. Identify areas for cooperation to elevate the Centre's reputation and expand its influence in the educational landscape.
Engage alumni networks: Cultivate connections through events and online platforms, encouraging program recommendations and feedback from alumni.

Duties and Accountabilities:

Market Analysis and Programme Development: Analyze market trends to identify program expansion opportunities. Provide recommendations for program enhancements based on market insights.
Lead Recruitment Initiatives: Drive targeted outreach activities and engage with prospective students to promote the Centre's programs. Develop innovative strategies to attract top talents and meet enrollment goals.
Enhance Alumni Engagement: Utilize events and online platforms to gather feedback and involve alumni in program activities.
Ensure Compliance with University Policies and Standards. Collaborate with department heads to maintain alignment with university guidelines and quality standards.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in higher education management with a focus on recruitment and revenue targets.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and achieve objectives.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement growth strategies.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and engagement with diverse stakeholders.
International Experience: Preferred experience in international environments.
Networking: Established connections in education and related industries.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in dynamic environments.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Experience in cross-cultural interactions
Proficiency in IT and online marketing

Over 10 years managing corporate relations and adult education in Asian markets.
Self-motivated, efficient, and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
