Retail Sales Development & Distributor Management

Alongside our agent:

Lead negotiations with distributors, landlords, and retailers to achieve and exceed budget targets
Navigate and manage market complexities associated with the distribution and channel priorities
Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities and market share
Develop and execute strategies to address market nuances and capitalize on diverse opportunities
Reinforce, directly manage, and enhance the effectiveness of our distributor network
Provide guidance, support, and training to distributors to ensure alignment with brand objectives and standards
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of objectives
Implement corrective actions as needed to optimize performance and achieve business objectives

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT APAC

Key Account Management

Develop and build strong relationship with Retailers Senior Management
Promote group values, organization and objectives to Key Accounts/Key Retailers
Explore/Evaluate Medium-Long Term projects to ensure share of space/voice with each allocated retailer
Identify and ensure development opportunities for all brands, including account and door openings options
Consolidate and follow up SISO, Retailer P&L in liaison with APAC Finance
Organize quarterly reviews with Brands, Retailers, and Management
Conduct regular market visit with brands as well as Management
Work closely with each Retail/Brand Manager to follow up on the field initiatives in terms of marketing/merchandising implementation and execution
Oversee Brands' pricing positioning within the account vs region and competition. Analyze group consistency and create a mapping in liaison with APAC Finance

Brand Management

Share and advise all brands of all trade, marketing and digital opportunities amongst retailers
Share Key accounts' vision and future projects with Brands and build with them a competitive and innovative proposal
Communicate and brief brands of any negotiation, initiate brief, conduct and follow up all steps of negotiation for commercial terms, space and location
Coach Brand Area Managers for their Account P&L management and account strategic and financial objectives in liaison with Regional Directors/Brand Regional Directors
Cascade info/communication to appropriate area managers and escalate to leadership appropriately (including HQ when necessary)

Market Intelligence

Define Retailers market perspective, size and growth and propose group's Retailer's strategy
Keep track of industry and competition happenings within Key Accounts
Consolidate and Analyze brands' and group market share, share of voice, and potential within accounts and total key Account portfolio
Market/Business Intelligence: gather market information related to the industry and key accounts (market size, distribution, pricing, launch results, ranking)

This position shall also assumes other responsibilities as assigned by its hierarchy.

Skills & Experience

This position requires a minimum of 10 years in key account management in a key market or at regional level with an international exposure
Relatable industry experience is required, Luxury and Beauty are strongly preferred
Business oriented, Customer and sales focus
A result-driven achiever with ambition, motivation, autonomy and dynamism
Leadership, proactivity, and strategic vision
Diligent with good attention to detail
Experienced in managing people/teams
Excellent organizational and negotiation skills
Experience working in a large, matrixed, global organization strongly preferred
Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English (Mandarin/Korean/Japanese speaking is a real plus)
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial, and creative environment
Experience of navigating effectively and efficiently in a multi-cultural environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills - objective and independent, diplomatic, assertive, gravitas
Open to travel overseas on a regular basis
