Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Product and Service Promotion: Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to promote the bank's products and services to clients in the GCC and ASEAN regions. Conduct presentations, organize events, and participate in industry conferences to enhance the bank's visibility and generate leads.
- Cross-Selling and Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional banking products and services to existing clients, maximizing revenue potential. Work closely with relationship managers and product specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client requirements and drive business growth.
- Risk Assessment and Compliance: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank's risk management policies. - Reporting and Performance Tracking: Prepare regular reports, including market updates, client pipelines, and revenue forecasts, to senior management. Monitor and track key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to enhance business development strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, relationship management, or sales roles within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on the GCC and ASEAN regions.
- Strong understanding of the banking industry, products, and services, particularly in corporate and commercial banking.
- Excellent knowledge of the GCC and ASEAN markets, including cultural nuances, business practices, and regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and convert business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in market research and analysis.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required. Knowledge of Arabic or regional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the GCC and ASEAN regions as required.
