What You'll Do:

You will be part of the communications team that supports SP's electricity and gas transmission and distribution and customer service businesses.

By working closely with the rest of the team, you will proactively profile SP's key initiatives and human-interest stories, safeguard its reputation with effective issues/crisis communications, and manage the communications of the Group's CSR initiatives.

Media profiling:
Research on and develop story angles and content for proactive profiling in the media.
Experienced in writing and producing press releases, articles and blogs, social content, videos, and infographics.
Engage mainstream, trade and digital media.
Leverage SP's and external channels to amplify stories.
Issues/incident management:
Provide media counsel and preempt potential issues
Act as media duty officer
Manage issues on the emergency response team and incident management team
CSR:
Support communications of SP's community and social service contributions and partnerships.

What You'll Need:

68 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations and issues management.
Degree in communications, marketing or related field.
Demonstrates critical thinking.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment that requires multitasking.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Expert verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge and abilities to use multiple platforms and channels (including digital).
Excellent project management skills, analytical and business acumen.
