Purchasing Executive

Duties and Responsibilities
Keep a record of stocks and ensure that stocks are in order and updated

Source for suppliers, negotiate and purchase goods at competitive pricing

Perform data entry, sort and file purchase documents, review purchasing activities including delivery order and servicing order, daily schedule for delivery, servicing as well as meetings

Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered and assign to the respective project

Assist in annual stock take and conduct regular cycle count

Purchase goods in a timely manner in order to satisfy project and service needs.

Ensure proper housekeeping of showroom and warehouse

Manage purchasing information in ERP system in order to have the timely correct information updated

Responsible to handle delivery in time to fulfil the specific project requirement

Documentation and file management

Control in and out of goods for local and overseas

Handles inventory

The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time as dictated by the changing needs of the Company.

The employee will be expected to undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by the Company.


Key Requirements:

O's Level or equivalent

Preferably 2 years working experience in a similar capacity

Proficient in both spoken and written English

Able to speak and write in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates/counterparts for material orders

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Familiar with ERP system or other equivalent software platform

Good team player who is keen to learn and with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work independently with mínimal guidance

Able to work and adapt well in fast-paced environments with strong resilience to meet deadlines and targets
