The Manufacturing Engineering Team is a key part under the Global Manufacturing Organisation.

It is home to over 200 talented engineers, scientists and technicians designing, developing, and testing advanced integrated manufacturing technologies across Dyson's product portfolio.

As a Transformation Manager for Manufacturing Engineering reporting to the Global Manufacturing Engineering Director, you will engage with Strategic Programmes Director and internal Manufacturing Engineering teams to plan, investigate, and launch improvement initiatives and transformation releases.

Coverage of countries includes Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

About the role:

Align central strategy & architecture vision with Operation Strategic Programme Directors to feed into the Group Transformation Portfolio.
Responsible for interpreting the strategy and align/prioritise across roadmap(s) within Manufacturing Function to business needs with the leadership.
Defining a change and transformation portfolio (a series of large transformational and/or continuous improvement activities) to ensure ongoing strategic improvement within Manufacturing Function.
Collaborate with Process Owner to facilitate the execution of change to deliver successful and valueadding outcomes throughout the activity or project.
Lead to improve organizational effectiveness on our Journey to Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering to work with an extended team to provide process, tools, methods, business transformation practices and training across the ME organization.
Responsible for verifying performed tasks are consistently and effectively carried out and create deliverables according to established core procedures, processes, measurements, and methodologies.
Drive quality improvements across projects and processes by redefining the product creation framework relating to Manufacturing Engineering
Develop and support advanced analytics reporting along with the Integrated Business Planning team to ensure reliable data within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Cultivate relationships and collaborate with crossfunctional teams such as Tooling Design, Process and Equipment, Manufacturing Technology Development and Power Systems Manufacturing Engineering.

About you:

Bachelor's degree in (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Engineering) or equivalent.
Development experience in requirement analysis, architecture, design, and testing of complete consumer product system.
Excellent project management capabilities and knowledge of fundamental PM principles (i.e. estimating and planning, risk management, status reporting, budget tracking, benefits analysis, stakeholder management and communication, resource management).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); fluent in spoken and written English
Independent and reliable, able to work with others within and across Manufacturing teams, to ensure that the whole project team succeeds in its goals.
Ability to influence a change or improvement and able to make things happen without the control over the implementation.
Proven people skills to ensure the successful delivery of performance through others.
Proven ability to orchestrate work across a few different projects and platforms simultaneously.
Deep knowledge of Dyson's product development framework.
Proven ability to work globally across countries, time zones and cultures.
Strong desire to continuously transform and improve our process and methods.
