Core Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely in support of other Operations Analysts and with guidance from Fund Controllers, to meet key deliverables
  • Review fund NAV and mandate positions following preparation by third party administrators
  • Monitor underlying investments NAV calculations and transactions
  • Initiate and calculate fund drawdowns and distributions to investors
  • Prepare and execute expense payments, forex and currency hedging
  • Preparation and provision of data for client reporting material
  • First point of contact for internal and external stakeholder queries
  • Keep internal monitoring systems up to date
  • Assistance with activities associated with delivering new products and strategic projects
  • Assist in the production of procedure manuals covering all REMM Ops key aspects
  • Continuously improve REMM Ops processes by promoting kaizen and lean six sigma

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in accounting, business or finance
  • Solid foundation in accounting principles. Chartered Accountant will be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Preferably 24 years of experience in roles with exposure to asset management operations / audit / accounting. New graduates with a strong accounting / finance background and a driven attitude will be considered
  • Understanding and experience from the asset management industry, preferably within Private Markets (for example within Real Estate or Private Equity)
  • Time management skills by monitoring and managing multiple tasks within tight timelines
  • Comfortable working with accountability, holding self and others to account to complete tasks comprehensively, to a high standard and in alignment with regulations, legislation, governance and compliance requirements
  • Making proactive and high quality decisions, balancing priorities, time management and leveraging knowledge of the whole business to deliver excellence
  • Perceptive to internal and external stakeholders views, needs and requirements
  • Selfmotivated with excellent interpersonal, humane, communication and technical skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills are essential and central to making the matrix structure work; the role will require the development and coaching of staff and an ability to communicate effectively
  • Flexible team player who is willing to help out where needed
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical comprehension and analytical skills
  • Client oriented with mindset to add value for clients in all we do
