Description

As a Business Development Manager specializing in Project Tender within the automotive industry, you

will oversee the tendering process for projects involving automotive products and services. This role

involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure efficient and effective tender

preparation, submission, and management.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage vehicle tender projects, including those from open tender or government initiatives.

Plan, prepare, and submit tender proposals for management approval.

Coordinate and lead tender meetings with internal stakeholders.

Ensure timely tender submissions.

Monitor tender progress and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Manage project budgets effectively.

Generate regular reports on tender activities and analyze tender results.

Identify and cultivate relationships with potential and existing customers.

Secondary responsibilities may include managing corporate fleet sales and leases.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in tender management.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tenders concurrently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in analysing tender documents, market trends, and financial data.

Negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-making processes.

Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements associated with tendering processes.

Attention to detail and accuracy in tender submissions.

Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous.
