Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Writer

Location – Singapore

NTT Data is seeking an experienced Technical Writer with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the IT System Integrator industry. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation and instructional materials to support our products and services.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and project managers to gather technical information and understand complex IT system integration concepts.
Create clear and concise documentation, including but not limited to, tender proposals, requirements / functional / technical specifications, user manuals or guides, references, and release notes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.
Conduct thorough research and gain a deep understanding of our projects and services to effectively explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, consistency, and overall quality.
Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in technical documentation.
Organize, maintain, and update a comprehensive library of technical documents, templates, and style guides.
Collaborate with the project / marketing team to create customer-focused content, to enhance documentations, project / product knowledge and attract potential audience.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices within the IT system integrator industry to uphold the highest standards of documentation quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record as a Technical Writer in the IT System Integrator industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
Strong understanding of IT system integration concepts, network infrastructure, cloud computing, and software development methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, or other relevant tools.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Portfolio showcasing previous technical writing samples preferred.
